Cendol and Ice Kacang, our local dessert has been selected as the No.4 Must Eat hawker food through an online poll on the VisitPenang website in 2009.
Ice Kacang is a popular refreshing dessert and found in many places around Penang. Bowl of shaved ice are usually drenched with different colorful sugar syrup and evaporated milk. Ingredients are made up of sweet red beans, canned jagung (creamy corn), black jelly (leong fun) and canned attap chee (palm seed).
